Frannie Miller, who cannot wait to grow up and work in an office with a swivel chair and her own assistant, causes havoc when she tries to help out while on a school field trip to the local radio station.

Frannie goes to dinner at a brand new French restaurant and tries her hand at being a food critic, even as she starts a campaign to warn other diners that there are insects on the menu.

Frannie is named Principal for the Day and wonders if she can assign her own punishment for using office supplies and setting off the fire alarm.

Frannie decides to help her father during a business meeting at a hotel in Florida than go with her mother to Princessland theme park.
